8 and 5
8 and 5
8 and 5 are after me and out to get me as usual
They follow close behind closed doors
From Arabia or China as is their nature
I can’t tell them apart
All numbers look the same to me
Sometimes the number 4 looks like a 4 before and after
Almost normal according to calculations
Not much more
It’s 8 and 5 that don’t add up
Why should 13 disturb me?
I've seen worse numbers escape through time
When lights go out they’ll define me if they find me
I’ll slip away and multiply by words
Divide myself by days in leisure like a spy
And wait in darkness for the table of time to turn
To see who’s numbers up
