What seven-eleven brings to mind for me ~
the cherry cola slurpee
A treat enjoyed as a child ~
now wouldn’t be made to drink by horses wild
Funny how our tastes can change ~
it’s like as we grow old, tongues get rearranged
----------
The Seven-Eleven Couplet Rhyme - an irregular mix of 7- and 11-syllable lines, although if there is an L6 or an L11, they are always 11 syllables.
