Every time I read your stuff you shock and surprise me and make me smile and laugh at loud, you rock.

Why thank you. That is quite an eloquent compliment.

Dear Mark, It's a blessing that you have a true love in your life. Cherish her and you may be one of the lucky couples and share your love forever. Lovely poem! Carolyn

I try to cherish her, because of the idea of forever. Mine is the only Christian denomination that teaches that the marriage relationship can potentially extend into the afterlife.

Thanks for commenting. You might also like Afterglow, which is sort of the other side of the coin.

oh this is really neat. That is just what is all right in the world for you. (Not crazy about the title. It's a bit too early in the a.m. haha)

My alarm was set for 5:45, so this was the lazily awake moment holding my wife this morning just prior. Check out Afterglow, my haiku from a few minutes aglow, ......I mean ago.
