43 Cents

43 cents in my prune-palmed hand. Clumped in a circle; flat coins. Brown for the pennies that hold my thoughts and silver for the ones it joins. Cupped in a hand with room for more yet weighed by the heart as less. Dumped on a table to bounce and flop while left for the owner to bless.
