Hmm. Yes, I had just watched it again thru streaming. The part with the apes to the beginning of something new. A very apt description of the film have you made. Impressive indeed, sir! I am always struck by your words.

It's a very deep film, Kim, and groundbreaking. For something made in 1968 it is still well ahead of it's time. A Sci-fi classic. Thanks for popping by. Viv x

oh my, I never liked that movie, but you did a GREAT job coming up with a poem for it. Wait till you see what I chose to do. I have too many favorites so I chose my favorite from last two weeks. haha. This was sure a fun contest!

Thanks, Tim. I still vivdly remember going to see it back in 1968 at a local cinema that had the super-wide screen and an awesome sound system, it was the only one of it's kind for miles. Perfect for the film. Oh, and a licensed bar- I had half a schooner of sherry. Regards, Viv
