14th Day of February
I awake from my sleep, another day it is , but just not like the rest
Spending time with you touches that body of flesh inside my chest
I yearn to obtain that heavenly reward, but here on earth I already have my prize
When nothing else could uplift my spirits there you came like an angel in
disguise
At this very moment I confess my desires and eternal love for no one else but you
Take my hand sweet one, and lets fly above the clouds and past that sky so blue
At this time we reminisce of the memories that made us who we are today
I pray that our undying love will grow stronger on past March, April, and May
Caressing your skin through the night as the stars watch our every motion
I leave behind the pain and cast it all out into the deep depths of the ocean
No other place this man here would rather be than in your lovely presence
My life lacks the necessary tools to love and you’ve become my true essence
Only you can make this incomplete man who speaks now finished and whole
Go deep and reach beneath that dark cave inside me and rekindle my soul
Almost blind I was until you led me to a world my eyes have yet to see
The one in your life who gives you infinite happiness is what I must be
I share not the pleasures I receive from the smell of your alluring scent
Just one minute a day fulfills me, because anytime with you is time well spent
I hope that the dear Lord above gives me the strength I need on my endeavor
Soon enough this day will depart but never worry because my love will stay forever
Sparkling diamonds and streets paved of gold I seem to lack, I have only my love
to give
Leave me now and my life will have no meaning because without you I choose
not to live
I could never be the same if that day shall ever come because you are a piece of
me
My time with you has served more meaning than I can explain, now I can die
peacefully
Someday when life is over I shall lay my soul and body to rest but never my love
to bury
I'm not guaranteed to see tomorrow so please spend with me this 14th day of
February
