-abandon-

One Word #1 Word: Abandon Abandon, verb, to leave or give up completely, to walk away from. Hey, you there, when I reach out, Will you reach back for me? Don’t leave just yet, it won’t take long, I won’t take back my decree. Don’t abandon me just yet, I promise, That I won’t let go of your hand. If you feel like you’re sinking, I will do my best to help you stand. Wait just a moment, please turn around, I know that I spout lies a lot, And I’m very ignorant to everything, But I swear I’ll give everything I’ve got. So please don’t abandon me just yet… Hey, I know that I lie a lot, And I don’t have anything right. But if you just were to give me a chance, I swear I won’t lose sight. So please don’t let go of me just yet… Please, I know that I’m just a stupid sixteen year old, Who is just selfish and takes without giving, But please let me start this life over again, I’ll make good of this life I’m living. So please…! Hey, you there, if I were to reach out, Will you reach back for me? I won’t be leaving just yet, so smile, I won’t take back my decree.
