1st place in the contest

The sun, stars and moon came closer this misty morning when the angels were presented with sublime beauty they weren't lacking hymns or instruments of joy Shades breached the outline and absorbed the purity Earth born mortal souls did not fear for the sun's eternal beam Beauty from her soul beneath true archery wings Gentle breeze came riding down from heaven gurgling streams plucking the harp strings I knew then, she were from heaven sent Our hearts together, copied in sapphire-blue and opal as I look through my paper-thin wings a caterpillar on earth inherited the heavenly blessing

You have a way with words , i really love the descriptive way you’ve woven this, i love the opening lines especially and the ending, “ the sun moon and stars came closer this misty morning” drew me right in to read, your storytelling flow of imagery and depth of this write truly is impeccable! Loved reading this

"Beauty from her soul beneath true archery wings Gentle breeze came riding down from heaven gurgling streams plucking the harp strings" -- Absolutely gorgeous poetic language. Such a lovely theme and poem. Good luck in contest.

Ooh, I like that last line, wasn't expecting it. The caterpillar blessed with wings to become a butterfly, from an angel no less. Nice metaphor for those blessed with power to change for the better

I'm in marvel of this purely ethereal, divine and magical piece, hued with impeccable vocabulary and delicate descriptions that adorn every line just like brilliant jewels.. I definitely love the opening line, so beautiful and "shades breached the outline and absorbed the purity", "beneath true archery wings" Ahh, breathtaking! "Our hearts together, copied in sapphire blue and opal" The use of colours is definitely enchanting! "A caterpillar on earth inherited the heavenly blessing" Love this!
