Shoes Suck

The older I get the more I hate shoes
When I was a teen I loved to choose
Different leather pumps and high heels
Wearing shoes now is a not a big deal

I like my old mules now out of style
As my feet can be free slide in and out
And those Crocs are popular for sure
But I just

Suck at love

I guess I suck at love
I guess I went left when I should have went right
I try to love with all my might but I guess it’s never enough
I suck at love
I’m so close to giving up
If what I experienced is love then love hasn’t been kind to me
Love has made me full of insecurities

SUCK UP

Move or walk 
With those you confide in
So you can do whatever you want
Without being fearful or timid.

Pay attention 
So you don't, fall a victim 
You never pay twice 
Maybe you lost attention 
Letting your opposition 
To  take advantage of you again.

Stay strong, stand firm
But be fragile 
To those 
Who wanna see you on

Ripped my heart in two you did, never came back to me to pick up all the pieces that you left behind just nothing, never even gave me a good-bye even if you promised you would, even if we left on bad or good terms you still said you would, left me for days with

My stomach wants to be slim, pure, empty,
Yet the phrase “dinner is ready!”
Never fails to tempt me.
Suck it up and puke it out.

If I were a bird love would be my wings
My flock would be of hip hop
Allow me to cruise sky blue white streams

Would I sing just as lovers do

To be inspired, I suck the Muses' breasts;
     and, like young babes that thirst for tender milk,
and for health from their mother's nippled chests,     
     I champ the teats sublime for strains of silk.

They Suck the Soul

The transiting sun shines deceptively,
spreads spectrum in the chameleon sky,
the masked faces of ingenious craft,

Life sucks most times, I know
There are many reasons it does
but I never met one life 
who didn’t learn something from it

we all see it and all agree
they were wrong, and will have to pay.

The president himself sees it
and then sends in the F.B.I.,
to figure out why this happened,
since such behavior cannot fly.

The cop who did it is locked up,
to face what verdict may be found,
