Love
What is love?
Love is devoting your heart
to someone or something,
showing affection,
showing compassion and care,
being kind and loyal,
not being selfish.
That is love....

Democratic Principles
Democratic Principles

To democratic principles we are dedicated,
And our polices based on and predicated;
Peace be promoting;
To do, time devoting;
Understand what all of this has indicated.

Artist Mind
Capturing beauty from a mile away
holding on to the images that I can't let go astray
devoting my time and love into it
releasing all the anguish I have stored inside
taking my imagination for a ride
naturally it's my passion and me just being as creative as I can be...

Root Chakra Affirmation Poems- Muladhara
Muladhara

Move about the grass
Uniting the link between heaven and earth
Landing and connecting task by task
Angels hear my cry and I rejoice
Devoting my mind to the unknown
Having faith because I have spiritually grown
Angels geared up for battle
Reassurance to my soul
Avenging stories that were left untold...

Christmas Light
Get a feeling
It’s Christmas everyday
Hate going to bed
Excited to wake up
To Presence
First I unwrap by
Reading a daily reflection
Then I share
My joys with others
Carrying that Present
With me all day long
Devoting myself to
Your Sweet Song
Believing I’m a Christmas light
You are the Socket
Without You I can’t shine...

To the Last Dish
. [for public domain]

To The Last Dish!

I'm devoting my remaining years coming
to washing my pile of dishes, (so numbing!)
for they're stacked to the ceiling, floor to top,
I'll wash to the finish, I won't ever stop.

Not for a break, not for a meal, not ever,
until the last one is done, Yes! Forever!
and there on my tombstone I want this much said,
"He died washing dishes. It killed him. He's dead."...

Did See Rudimentary
When we did see the rudimentary,
We decided to name her Dorothy;
Memory miser,
Left under visor;
Sang do ray and would forget me.

She always gave to the cause;
Was last seen in Wizard of Oz;
By crow scared;
Lion fair haired,
And tin man with metal paws.

Rainbow in air was found floating,
And around lake had been boating;
Witch appeared,
Who we feared;
Watch Wizard of Oz time devoting.

A Visit From My Housekeeper
Her I am
sitting writing a
   poem
While my housekeeper
  is bury cleaning
my apartment
   I feel a little guilty
 She is working hard
while I am just
   moving a pen
along a piece of
    paper
Still poetry
    is listed as an
occupation in the Occupational Outlook Handbook
So I guess I am working, too
   In September I return to work as a
college assistant
   Devoting the rest of my time to
the New York Giants, poetry and looking for love...

Old Tales Tall We Right
Old tales tall we right
Emotion of love never dies
Just its need a short of devotion
And the life goes bright
Somewhere, someone waiting
Lovely, smiling and devoting
Love never speak lies
Love spread true light
Love gives us a true height
Happiness knock door of heart
Is moon is your real sweetheart
Imagination always makes creation
And our dreams change in truth
So always choose the real thought
And burn the light of hope
She will definitely come with sunshine...
