Was by the pool, sporting a Speedo

Cursed with overactive libido

I did all that I could

Now, I'm just sporting wood

The damned thing looked like a torpedo

So I used my towel, trying to hide

But still, it wouldn't swallow my pride

The shadow from my shaft

Was creating a draft

And it stirred up a crowd a mile wide

The line

Ski-Racer Sonnet

Sitting astride a frozen mountainside,
eighty others waiting their turn to go,
on the slope blue and red gates a path scribe,
a man says, “racer ready;” so they know.
An hour passed, now it’s my turn to ski,
explode out of the gate with a kick-start,
frozen ruts are what I find greeting me,
muscles press down to absorb impacts hard,
frantic

Elusive Poacher

He drank a glassful brandy,
All over again randy,
Then tried a little Quanta
And soon began to banter
"I'm a Poaching Trespasser,
In a Property, Racer,
Moving at a clean canter,
No halting by your Mantra...

Often watching Lawful Pace,
A keen eye on Owner's Face
To hellfire not let loose,
Owner to reject a truce,
My poaching finger first list
For those

He’s itching,
he’s twitching,
he’s ready to shop.
The big rigs
are rolling;
they’re making a stop.
He’s tracking,
WhatsApping,
he’s all in the know.
He’s topped off,
he’s loaded,
he’s ready to go.
He scored him
some soy-based
down under the bridge.
The goat milk
awaits him
just over the ridge.
She’s calling,
she’s balling;
it’s almost all gone.
His eyelids
are heavy;
been at it since dawn.
He got to
the last stop
a minute too late.
The guy in
the

Premium MemberGentle Jimmy Drag Racer Darted In and Out of Danger-

Little Jimmy was a eight-teen-year-old wild teenager
He had a souped-up Dodge Dart and ate day old bagels
At the dark in the park he would race his Dodge Dart
Car went so fast it's sputtered sounds of flagellants-fart
Baroom-zoom-zooms out here drag racing in out of danger

Downhill Racer

The day was brilliant--Sol spreading diamonds in the sky--
When Kathleen and her father faced the slope,
He with trepidation, she with hope.

They scanned the rise and watched like country rubes
As sliders paused atop the run,
Then hurtled down on sleds and tubes,
Jinking, jerking, shouting, screaming;
It promised so much fun.

“Let’s go,” Dad said, and led the

Barrel Racer

She tightens her saddle one last time
She's ready to go, ready to ride
Her palomino mare snorts and paws roaring to run
The buzzer sounds, now its on
Down the middle veering right
She makes the turn, the crowd ignites
On to the second whippin' her hard
The barrel tips but doesn't go far
One more to go, she's clenching her teeth
'Round

The Midnight Racer

The Midnight Racer
The midnight racer comes from nowhere .
Racing the road as face as he can.
Zig Zaging in and out passing cars like they do not exist.
You cannot see him for the speed he goes. One winks and you miss him.
No one has seen his car. They have no idea what he drives.
Just a word

Four Door Racer

Four-Door Racer

My daddy owned a four-door racing machine
Scared my mother to death when he lived out his dream
He loved to race at speeds known to few
Despite mother’s objection, that’s what he’d do

He’s shine and wax that racing car
In hopes that someday it would take him far
On the track is where he loved to be
Screams from

Rod and Racer Reunion

They bring their metal steeds

to show or run the 1/4 mile.

Their cars are bright and swift

they make the crowd all smile.

They are from times of old

bright memories they hold !
