Surely there must be a place
higher than this blue sky we sight...
A place perhaps most tangible, 
less crumbly than this clay 
that when we touch
turns to dust...
A place in which we are spirits
unbreakable and undying... !

Morning’s so much nicer
ever since you came along
A chilly breeze, it sings to me
its sweet October song

The sunrise, as if lemonade
is poured upon the sky
A fluffy cloud soars like a dove
as it goes floating by

Dew drops glisten brightly,
tiny diamonds on the lawn
Bluebirds sing in harmony
with this melodic dawn

Butterflies awaken
with the colors of the day
Fallen leaves
