HUBBLE TROUBLE

Maybe it’s magic or hocus-pocus
Some kind of spell is cast on me
A telescope in space, who knew
It takes a while to adjust the view
Earth orbit, not yet interplanetary
But images I see are out of focus

A ‘superbubble’ called bizarre
by some star watchers from afar
albeit it known as N Four Four
emission nebula with score

or scores of stars midst gas aglow
in Magellanic Cloud’s outflow
with dusty lanes we dreamers stride
inside the Cloud termed Large was spied.

It seems a starry gap or hole
is interrupting stellar stroll
in upper central part of scene
on Hubble’s vast depicted

My genealogical family tree

Carnival Autumn's Ghostly Hubble

It is Carnival Autumn's Ghostly Hubble
Halloween Night, as emotions bubble;
kids full of mischief getting into trouble.

The whole carnival is decked out with Halloween décor!
Lit jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, skulls covered in gore,
spiders on webs, whole new world waiting to explore.

How many would think this would be fine,
but what happens next will soon change their mind.
