Fulfilling Poems

Self fulfilling prophecy

I read book dedications and cry.
Nostalgia burns worse than
the words you used to speak.
I've been the problem child since
—well, ever.
A self-fulfilling prophecy.

Isn't it ironic,
my diamond dame?
You brought me into this world
pink and smooth and wailing—
or so I’ve heard.

Some nights, I wonder:
Did the chicken come first, or the egg?

Did you hate me
before you made me?

Premium MemberOF FULFILLING AND SEALING LIBERATION

You can’t grasp liberation
With butterfinger hands;
Rather, you must grasp her
With an iron-fist grip;
Clasping her here forever:-

Thus, let us get to being about
Fulfilling and sealing our liberation,
Rather than just rapping about it:-
Rember, liberation is not given,
It is faithfully fought for and won:-

And the best part of the fight is,
It's not with those weapons given us
To freely

Fulfilling Life

No heart is equal
No knowledge is equal
Loving is enough
Knowing is enough
Too much is not good
Don't try to be somebody
Nor hold everything in
Just be true to yourself
Enjoy the little things
You will find that life
Is already very fulfilling.

A Wish Fulfilling Gem

The world is a karma burning engine.
We resist it, we curse it, we do our best
To try and make it something different,
But it is what it is,
And this honesty deserves to be respected
Celebrated, embraced and even dove into
As a fish into water.
It is after all our karma that

A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

A handful of sorrowful years have passed
and now I bare my shame.
A deserving fate for one miscast;
deserving of the blame.

For I was flailing as a dreamer,
focussed on the past.
Running from the future,
losing all at last.

I thought I knew the pathway,
ordained for me by you,
So rightly threw my all away,
and left her with no due.

A selfish

Fulfilling the Command

On a bench in the sun,
With the river close by,
I can get something done
(Or at least I can try).

For out here I unwind
As I soak up the rays
And I’m likely to find
Something I can appraise.

With my pencil in hand
And a notebook page, blank,
I fulfill the command,
With the river to thank,

That I jot down a

Self-fulfilling prophecy dawns
Misaligned heart’s desire
Do we know not yet, ego cons
We face then outcomes dire

We did spawn Frankenstein
To destiny resign
Now our choice, laugh or whine

Turbid thought cacophony

Premium MemberFulfilling a Prophesy

Do not think I have come to abolish the law
Or the Prophets
I have come not to abolish
But to fulfill. Matthew 5:17

Jewish history often chronicles religious persecution
Violence
Depression
Yet Old Testament prophets offered hope with their stories of the coming of a Messiah

This Messiah
The prophets foretold
Would free the Jewish people from their oppressors
He would rule

Premium MemberFulfilling the Wolf Prophecy

There is a wolf among us, Webrah, their clan leader stated.
The clansman looked around in disbelief.
Their shadows were eerily elongated
Enhanced and distorted by the council fire.

Names began rumbling in a mumbling way.
Scentar? Dragsphere?
The clan leader said I am as concerned as you
But no one knows who he is. We only know he

Premium MemberFulfilling What I'Ve Begun

I’m determined to fulfill what I’ve begun
By God’s grace that enabled me to run.

Knowing that Christ started a good work* in me in His omniscience
I’m assured that He will finish it, constraining my obedience.

In this race of life which my Lord has me enlisted
His strength I constantly need since that day His heart I trusted.

Conscious
