I Am Empath.

I recall the day it happened.
I was no more than a child.
Standing by my mothers side,
my emotions running wild.

Overcome by sadness,
I would come to one day know.
This so called gift that I received
would one day start to grow.

Now I can feel the words you speak,
and hear the words you don’t.
I can sense the things you’ll do,
although you swear you won’t.

I can see your troubled soul
by looking in your eyes.
I can somehow find the truth
behind great walls of lies.

I can sense but not explain
this storm where you are hurled.
I can see by how you walk
you’re shouldering the world.

Not something that I asked for,
not some silly game I play.
Sometimes my heart is broken
a hundred times a day.

I’ll feel somewhere a broken mind.
We’ll talk for just awhile.
And I can see the things they hide
behind their broken smile.

So if someday sometime we meet
don’t fear what I might see.
The story told is yours to tell
and your secrets safe with me.

Another Saturday 25th April

A past the soul, eats
Memories of people
Event of many seats
Rained on. the steeple

Church prepped proper
Pews filled, flowers decked
White gowned, the monster
The future not yet wrecked

Confetti and photo shoot
A grand reception follow
Live band and MC to boot
Something, rings hollow

Joined in unholy union
Stoic empath and diva
For now, in communion
Twixt novelty driven fever

The mirror will break
Pierfect no more
Prisoners to take
To a distant shore

Blame games ensue
Victim turns villain
The truth to lose
Years two score ,fill in

Premium Member soothsayer meets empath

soothsayer gave the woman a solemn smile
lucky rings around your wrists, you are lucky you know
they sat staring at each other for quite awhile
would you like to stay for the Halloween show?

oh yes, said the woman but is there a cost?
the soothsayer was willing to take a loss
this empathy would make a fine apprentice for her.
she felt as a natural healer, she might help her find a cure.

The Final Stage Of The Empath After Narcissistic Abuse

At first, she dreamed in mirrored light,
Mistaking shimmer for the sun —
She called the shadow holy night,
And thought the wound was love begun.

The mask adored, the heart obeyed,
Till truth, like thunder, split her trance;
She saw the role her soul had played —
The healer caught in circumstance.

Then silence came — not death, but birth,
A quiet deeper than despair;
She met the dark within her worth,
And found her Self already there.

No savior left, no beast to fight,
No wish for vengeance or control —
She stood, at last, in her own light,
The union of a once-divided soul.

Dark Empath

The Shadow — has a Tender — Vein —
It learns in borrowed Light —
From Hearts once bruised — it reads the World
Yet sees — through wounded Sight —

A Narcissist — may weep for Praise —
Not Love — but Echo’s gleam —
Their “Trauma” — worn like Crown and Thorn —
A self-adopted Dream —

We trace the Ache — but not excuse —
For Cruelty — once born —
A Soul — may Bleed — yet still betray
The Trust — another — worn —

So — cast them to the Common Air —
Not hateful — but aware —
For Consequence — like Frost — will touch
The Petals — everywhere —

No Scorn — but Quiet Certainty —
That Justice walks — unseen —
And those who thieved the Warmth of Hearts —
Will feel — what Cold can mean —

It can hurt to be around people
Especially those somber and sad
You can feel it the heart is a steeple
Welcome to the life of an empath

The news can be overwhelming
Yet I enjoy being in the know
The contents is often telling
If my mood will swing high or low

Low for a firefighter died only age 20
After a job he had a medical emergency
High for the wins in time there are many
Babies born, cancer cures and love's legacy

To be who God created you to boldly be
Is a curse and blessing empath is me

Empath's Echo

I wake to whispers not my own,
Heavy hearts, a constant drone.
Their sorrows seep into my veins,
Uninvited, yet it remains.

A glance, a sigh—a silent plea,
A storm that finds its home in me.
A weight I carry, deep and wide,
No place to run, nowhere to hide.

Joy appears but isn’t mine,
A fleeting glimmer, thin as twine.
While anguish roots and digs in deep,
Robbing me of precious sleep.

A thousand voices in my mind,
Battles waged, secrets confined.
Bound to feel, I wonder why,
To hold their pain, to hear their cry.

Yet in their echoes, I exist,
Torn by sympathy I can’t resist.
A fragile light, a bleeding flame,
An empath’s curse, an empath’s name.

Ebony eyes with somber smiles white weeps
Empath in denial in a peach poetic sleep
Unaware of blue truths planted so deep
Life is a silver school never stop learning

At the same time you are a teacher
Your lesson is living and it's a feature
No one but you can take the clay of your life
Fire it up and shape into something divine

Someone is cut and you feel it too
Someone goes nuts and so do you
You are indeed the gift of feel
On your knees it seems too real

Empath you are a special soul
Protect your heart continue to grow
Shed your sins as snake shed skins
Be who you are a heart for men

They say, be empathic
    and show that you care;
I remind it goes both ways,
    this street that we share.
I know I should walk
for a mile in your shoes,
but unless you wear 13s,
    I may have to refuse.

The Gift

We don’t live an ordinary life, you and me,
But with a battle in ourselves every day.
It’s so unfair this burden we bare,
People will never understand the life we have.

We struggle to keep our emotions under control.
   And not to get involved,
With others’ pain, we try to refrain,
But it drag us in like a magnet.
Their hurt hits us like fragments in our souls.
   They are the seekers,
And we the keepers of their secrets we have to hold.

We listen and tried our best to give advice,
Sometimes their pain hurts us more than they realized.
You tried to block it out,
Not to hear the silent cries and shouts.
But unfortunately is not that easy,
For an empath to control their feelings.

Many times we cried in silence too,
Because this is not what we had choose.
It’s a gift that we received,
   To help others in need.

Touch me, that’s
all you have to do;
Caress me with words
that raise goosebumps that won’t fade;
I’ll devour each and every one;
Let go only when I say,
‘Enough; I have no coherent thought.’
Enjoy the slow whisper along your skin,
marvel at the flames in my voice;
Powerless against your match
ablaze, captive to your energy;
Touch me and whisper,
hypnotize me with your fire.

EMPATH

Solitude is needed
Upon this very day
Loud bass pounding beats
On the stereo does play

Sadness, anger
Depression and despair
Picking up from everyone
It’s blowing in the air.

Cleansing meditation
Protection circle drawn
Now under the covers
Sleeping until dawn

Empath

a delusory warm sunlight glow breaks in cracks
through the curtains in my room
energy leaves my body
as my breath is breathed into aching lungs

a haze encircles the breeze through the window
mirthless scenes begin, touching deep
dragging me down under
a happiness once felt, only brief

unbending alliances drift into my head
loss reverberates in droves
savage in it's descent
compassion destroying my senses

wild ashen gasps are delivered into the air
worn out from the drain
of surrendering to the senses
dissipation blurring the cost

as the bodies pass by, living in prism-ed hours
relief now only contained in my four walls
eyes close to balm
in the downcast chill that night's gift brings
