Empath

It can hurt to be around people 
Especially those somber and sad
You can feel it the heart is a steeple
Welcome to the life of an empath 

The news can be overwhelming 
Yet I enjoy being in the know
The contents is often telling
If my mood will swing high or low

I wake to whispers not my own,
Heavy hearts, a constant drone.
Their sorrows seep into my veins,
Uninvited, yet it remains.

A glance, a sigh—a silent plea,
A storm that finds its home in me.
A weight I carry, deep and wide,
No place to run, nowhere to hide.

Joy appears but isn’t mine,
A fleeting glimmer, thin as twine.

Ebony eyes with somber smiles white weeps
Empath in denial in a peach poetic sleep
Unaware of blue truths planted so deep
Life is a silver school never stop learning

At the same time you are a teacher
Your lesson is living and it's a feature

Today of all days I am dividing my tears into sections, 

With each moment, with each tear drop and snuffle I makes

They say, be empathic
    and show that you care;
I remind it goes both ways,
    this street that we share.
I know I should walk 
    for a mile in your shoes,

The Gift

We don’t live an ordinary life, you and me,
    But with a battle in ourselves every day.

The path that's walked by narcissists is one they think we've missed,
it delivers them from hardship and gifts a life of bliss.

They learned through truth they're vulnerable, so truth they wont admit,
without the fear life's wonderful and they think that they've nailed it.

they wont be made a spectacle up high

I'M An Empath

I'll love you if you love me,
respect you if you respect me,
I'll help people that I actually hate
to kill the unhappiness they create

I'll speak truth, won't avoid being straight
falseness traits, fakes, liars I don't appreciate, 
I'll only manipulate those whom manipulate,
it's a one off for me, I'll let the evil devastate, 

I'll let people abuse

Tactile Empath

Touch me, that’s 
all you have to do;
Caress me with words 
that raise goosebumps that won’t fade;
I’ll devour each and every one;  
Let go only when I say,
‘Enough; I have no coherent thought.’
Enjoy the slow whisper along your skin, 
marvel at the flames in my voice;
Powerless against your match

through the curtains in my room
energy leaves my body
as my breath is breathed into aching lungs

a haze encircles the breeze through the window

a happiness once felt, only brief

Omniscient presence
She does notice everything
Hypervigilant
Saturated with knowledge
She wisely keeps confidence

Ka’mayia gives off the air of
Well giving off an air
Self-confidence personified,
in the form of a gorgeous caramel body

Her skin flashes with beauty, 
but those eyes, oh, my, those eyes.
They are chocolate all-knowing orbs.

The Empath lies,
When asked if he cries.
