Premium MemberTart Candied Viator

A basket full of apples,
an assortment of flavor.
Wide plethora to pick from,
maybe that is the problem.

This is far too much to ask,
a basket full of apples.
By nature not gluttonous,
decisions hard decisions.

Tart, candied, a bit of both.
Which bite will truly fill me?
A basket full of apples,
I only want to eat one.

Scent rolling off

Premium MemberCandied Dreams

We peek from ‘neath a January frost
Through windows tightly shut against its chill
Count a mitten and a hat among the lost
And carry on by simple force of will

The glint of light grows longer every day
As shadows strut their stuff in windblown play
Tinging the edge of snow a dingy gray
As silently a terror comes our way

A

Premium MemberCandied Apples Are Too Sweet

Candied apples are too sweet for that scraggly wayward horse
What would this old dude know? His name is crow jimmy morse
myrtle ignored what he had to say, giving the horse a sweet that day.
She was glad she did later, for that night, the joyful horse passed away.

Premium MemberOur Candied Apple Maker

For years our family has tried to make candied apples.
Most of our valiant attempts have ended up as a disaster.
Mine were always the worst, or the funniest.
Depending on the way you look at things.
I usually choose funny.
My daughter should have been an engineer.
She is all about precision and exactness.
She can create a candied apple that

- a Candied Pout -

Upon her face hangs a pout,
Which under her philtrum she wears so pink.
Not that she wills to show sulkiness,
But to send a flirtatious invitation,
And inveigle mine to repose on

You embody innocence and truth,
traits one rarely finds outside of youth.
And with your intoxicating charm,
you guard my heart, shielding it from harm.

You entice me in erotic ways,
fanning sparks into a yearning blaze.
And fueling fantasies, you start
to gently cradle my fragile heart.

Fulfilling all my dreams and wishes,
you stir passion with candied kisses.
And absolve me of the

Candied Screams

Something touches
              my ears
and glides right across
              my heart,
the sweetest of screams
that I don't even realize
