Blaming Poems

Not Her Fault

"It was your dress," they replied
Was it? The ripped fabric cried
The 5-year-old's laughter silenced that day
Couldn't even scream, "I'm just a child," and ran away

"It was your shorts," they claimed
Was it? The torn seams proclaimed
The 10-year-old's dreams shattered, flamed
Couldn't even cry, "I'm just a girl," with shame

"It was your clothes," they blamed
Was it? The cloth

The Art of Blaming You

i wonder if my sister is aware
she’s the reason i lost my muchness
it’s like i don’t want to be loud anymore
i want to be like a whisper
or a gust of wind

i want to be quiet and go unnoticed
so bad that i tip toe
and hold my breath

maybe because i approached it

Premium MemberBlaming a Missing Person

Two small pinwheels once rosy and gay
Have faded in the sun, they are now dingy and gray
How brilliantly colorful they once were, probably
Popping with enthusiasm and joy to some degree

Now they are worn, faded, dull, and listlessly dead.
I have to blame their owner Mr. McFred
He should have brought them in before the snow
Wait; he is

Premium Membernever blaming her mother

The child could disassociate rapidly when she had to
She had plenty of practice
Thanks to her mother bringing home new daddies
Some had not been kind to the little girl

She had gotten used to staying in the corner
While things were done to her body that she did not like
She could weasel out of herself quickly
Before she knew

My candle burns at both ends.
It will not last the night.
But, ah my foes, and oh, my friends,
it sheds a lovely light.

Premium MemberQuit Blaming The Innocent Victims

Keep on blaming and cheating
It is annoying, and disgusting
You always have an excuse
You always want to amuse
Keep on criticizing
Keep on castigating
Put your conscience in the mirror
If you can find it. Check the corridor
To see if it is not running away from you
Pay all debts that are due and overdue
Put up
Or shut up
Slavery is over. Racist

The Way She Talks

The way she talks....
as if a sweet bird sadly singing.
as if she's so sorry for the troubles
that we are having,
her face goes red like an apple,
not her fault,
but like a prayer in a chapel,
she seems to be apologizing.
not her burden,
but to carry it for calmness,
she's so abiding.
the tone of her voice tears your heart
and your

Blame it on Biden.
Blame it on Trump.
Blame it on inflation
and the gas at the pump.
Blame it on our borders.
Blame the Chinese.
Blame toilet paper hoarders
when covid makes you sneeze.
Blame it on the Christians.
Blame it on the Jews.
Blame it on the LGBTQ's.
Blame it on Putin and his
war in Ukraine.
This blaming game is quite inane.

Blaming You

I wouldn’t blame you if I died
I don’t blame you that you’ve lied
Heck, I wouldn’t even be alive to see the day and the beautiful skies

I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to cry
Or if you displayed any anger in your eyes
After all this world is at times, ill advised

Blaming the white men
Is the idea, the insane ideas
That many of you have in your eyes
In your head and in your brain.

You’re scared of the truth
You’re playing the ugly lute
The sad refrain that you ought to forget
To exterminate and to obliterate
FYI, the white men are in extreme debt
They’re complaining, moaning and blaming
The world too, for

Premium MemberBlaming Pryo Cat

He was the first pyromaniac cat I had ever met.
Some said he was too focused, too intense.
I thought he was brilliant, and yet….
I was terrified of his logic, it made lots of sense.

He had quite a following, I joined his cult right away.
He had barrels of petrol and gasoline too
We all wanted our own
