Premium Member Mind vs World: A Poetic Singularity
Come my friend and let me lead you on
a voyage to the singularity
where mind and world collide.

For what is the mind?
A filter that selects and connects
   the world as it varies
with all its cues and views?
   Or is it a...

The Promise's Beginning
Somewhere in midnight’s nocturnal hallways
As the chill settles down with starlight
While the world stands silent in waiting
There abiding with his flock walks the shepherd
Hopeful in thought and yet weary of foot
He moves his charges through the bite of night

His hope in the coming dawn lifts...

Premium Member Man on the Precipice of Eternity
In seventy-eight, my steel-stallion, KZ1000,
   pride, wind in my hair.
Its Sissy Bar, firm tether, bag secured,
   my wanderlust's prayer.

Where sun, snow, wind sculpt my journey's theme
my odyssey untamed, my spirit free.
No car to claim, just...

A cosmic beak pecks

an explosion of maroon

that converges with

galactic vastnesss where stars

brightly splatter midnight blue.

A Conversation With Aenesidemus
"A Conversation with Aenesidemus"

all perceptions are relative
and interact
one upon another

take a coin
stand it vertical
spin it

gravity does that
it’s one way or the other
there is no in between

middle roads

even when you hold it
steady between your fingers
there is one side or the other

the middle...

Premium Member Solidified Dreams
dreams that were ethereal particles of longing
amass together, forming decisions
that solidify with the passage of time
into unchangeable reality
marking my time line
making immovable
the dance of new possibilities

I wonder
what might have been
had the particles of longing
remained
flitting fantasies
on the periphery of my consciousness
refusing tangibility's reality
keeping the time line...

Mystery
Spiralling souls prepare for their descent
As the Heavens spew out this Majestic event
Mother earth responds and patiently awaits
The universe converges the guardians open the gates
Acoustical vibrations generating bright
Spatial waves of infinite sight
Orbital matter within the storm
Diverse phenomenon in all its form

Running rivers that shimmer with...

Raising the Bar
Raising the bar
By S.Jagathsimhan Nair

Come along, mate,
Let us cross this concourse of coincidences and pray before this
ever-evaporating deity of oblivion.
And offer the termite hills of our doubts
at the altar of this counter-god.

Placed before his liquid justice
is our...

A Girl I Want
I love a girl in distress,
cos i want her my mistress,
never worry i bring no stress,
make sure we are on the press.

I need a girl in my house,
buy jewels more than an ounce,
for tonight i will try to announce,
be my lady so i will call...

Premium Member The Teacher of Peace
In the tangle of wood
Delighted by the scent of earth rich warmth
Of forest floor fusion
The carpet of needles dance with the rhythm of your step
And lead you to its tranquility

Its crisp crackle permeates the air
With the timeless recital of fragrant decay
The seasonal bliss of showering...

3 A.M.
It's late or early, I can't tell which one
We're not on some secret island with a picturesque sun
The palm tree buildings; strolling holding your arm on these concrete beaches
Freedom building and living as far as the philosophy to be me reaches
I still remember it was...

Serene Evening
Stillness my vacant eyes dart around to feel,
Evening’s redness is sliding into night’s lap, a glow alights its appeal.
Road that converges into my apartment building seems lonely,
Each window awaits the arrival of beings who are homely.
Now I sit on the swing perched on my terrace...

Spring Is Coming Soon
Something wonderful is happening to
Planet Earth, good things are starting to grow,
Revitalised, energised, all aglow,
Inspired by change to this fresh season so
Nature initiates seeds from below,
Gateway to abundance is now on show

Inviting us into the larder of plenty
Satisfaction to bellies that are so empty,

Creation of...
