PRAISING ANCHORED INVESTED POETIC TIME

Sitting there with quiet waves
Of a full wrinkling oceanic mind,
Smooth pensive allegorical thoughts
Flow to a self waiting thirsty anchoring
To buoy and deeply deposit and bank
Until their pregnant birthing interest
Has accrued and their pen established:-

Golden leaves drift gently,
a candle’s soft flicker,
shadows dance on the walls,
lines of a poem form,
clouds shift in the sky.

Worn blanket soothes me,
the pen’s cool weight,
chair beneath me,
heartbeat calm.

Rustling leaves,
clock ticks slow,
wind sighs.

Spiced air,
cedar.

You are sometimes shaken to your core
You might be frazzled, a little stunned
But if you are anchored to His word
Holding onto His promises
Your foundation might shake
But you have hope, you are surrounded by gentle reminders of His grace 
It doesn't matter how dark and broken things seem at times 
Your remain anchored, you cling to

In the thicket forgotten of deeply anchored thoughts,
Where ideas nest, across time and tailored spaces,
There I stand, guardian of the undimmed realm, the archivist of the flame
That knows not extinguishing in the beating winds of history,
Guarding the pure light that does not fracture from darkness.
Shadow does not frighten me, in the tumultuous whirl of the

Safely Harboured And Anchored

When the road ahead looks a little rough
The walls are closing in
You're just about to give up
And are fortunate to have someone
To run to who you really love 
Someone you're always thinking about
Who you know you can trust
The only place to go to
Is in their open embrace
That soothes your inner child
A safe harbour to rest

Economic Freedom Fighters

The vibrant force
Always stands for the righteousness
Though they might be threatened still go for it nonetheless
Freedom and economic impact is the priority

The radical, leftist, anticapitalist and anti-imperialist movement
The spirit of God's holiness has fallen down in Africa
Politically anchored by grassroots' formations and struggles

Let the praises be unto you
You definitely deserve them undoubtedly
Welcome them with your

My heart feels heavy tonight

Old photos and memories

A steadfast emotional anchor

Yearning bygone days

Achingly longing for the lost

My soul sorrowfully hankers

Anchored In My Heart

In the heart of every place, there lies a gift,
Strength to cope with all that life may lift.
Nested deep within its spirit hold,
A love that's tethered, never to unfold.

For love is a gift from God above,
 A force that binds us with unbreakable love.
It's the rattling essence of all that we are,
The light that guides

I love the word Anchored
The strength it beholds
Steadfast, secure
Guaranteed and bold

A word with definite intent
Controlled and assured
Determined and decided
Without lines being blurred

A word that evokes certainty
A sense of protection and safety
Positioned and centred
Anchored …. strength with clarity!

 in reality

transfused

   a separate
creative
   vision

 internal
    sensation
this anchored
   perception
extrapolated
in
the
simplified 
  patterns
of poiema
  itself

Up Anchored

The ice has boiled over,
sludge trudge paddles its way
through the muddy day.

Willow trees dream in the melt,
we open windows
to watch the damp sky dry.

Child-hearts are lifting,
their small boats
turning to great sailing ships
for the survivors of sadness.

Wave we as the world passes by.
Fly a flag and be.

Love-Anchored Relationship

Reaching down to offer eternal life
the Saviour gave Himself, oh precious gift
midst guilt-condemning sins, awfully rife
drawing me nigh toward heaven uplift
with love's pardon from iniquity strife.

So loved to enjoy peaceful freedom grant
my soul abides in Christ blissfully now
along faith with ministerial implant
blest to fulfill service-commitment vow
fortified to silence distressful rant.

Vibrant relationship marked by trust
tied around

I hug the earth, whilst I grow
Stretching upward to the sky
Welcomed by the sun, thereby
Raindrops pool beneath my leaves
Plants rejoice, but my soul grieves

A title is like an anchor that holds it apart

I love to sit in front of the sea, attuned to its mighty
roars and the way it tirelessly kisses the shore. 
Especially beautiful when the sun is setting 
on the horizon as if releasing all of its tiredness 
of holding the light of the day into the cool waters
