To Friendship
I see you, see you clearly, never saw you.
Your voice I never heard but still I hear you.
Small lines across my screen are silent words.
Affection bordering on love, surprising
how much I want you to approve of me,
I never had a father, I have more now.
This bed a warm embrace of arms around.
I hug my tablet close against my body
You, you alone, and all my other dads
(Or close friends, or whatever you may call you)
Of all of them, I know you understand me,
Protect me, see me clearer than I can.
So grin, and talk, discuss, always remember:
I listen, for I care as much as you do :)
