Moon And Sea Collaborating

Each pulls the tide in two sockets Where moon and sea hang like lockets One friction between two wading bodies — The pale head of moon, on cue with sea The gentler anesthetic of the glass ~Within her encumbered salty past ~ Their flashing eyes in both windswept Water is who they reflect A wavelength's shoulder muscling by — The catch of forever swimming light It feels every night — The morning tears upon us soon, Eyes on the sea, it's been moved.

This is stunning--fluid, romantic, and aching with eternal motion. "The catch of forever swimming light" feels like pure poetry distilled. The moon and sea as lovers, reflections, and opposites--gorgeous tension. I felt the pull in every line.

Honey, I only write when I am inspired to write. Subjects just come to me. I never know when I'm going to have time to come online PS...I've thought of writing with people in the past, but I'd rather write for them rather than with them. That's just me. So sweet of you to ask though- please don't take offence. Hugs and kisses, lovely you <3

The light of the moon moves with the sea. (This image is delicate, yet, soft and sensual). Simply breathtaking, Paige. Congratulations on Poem of the Day. My best to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

The moon and the sea have always had a special relationship. Usually, I write about the one shared by the moon and the sun. But your lines have them in synergetic compromise. Thank goodness it is so. Congratulations on POTD, Paige.

Dearest Paige, I adore how your tide-pulled wonder-moon and sea entwined, reflects and moves the other in quiet, luminous tension. I feel the gentle ache of longing and the shimmer of connection in every line, like a locket holding night’s secrets. A wonderful collaboration of light and depth and your words are a current I want to drift in, again and again. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel
