Moon And Sea Collaborating

Each pulls the tide in two sockets Where moon and sea hang like lockets One friction between two wading bodies — The pale head of moon, on cue with sea The gentler anesthetic of the glass ~Within her encumbered salty past ~ Their flashing eyes in both windswept Water is who they reflect A wavelength's shoulder muscling by — The catch of forever swimming light It feels every night — The morning tears upon us soon, Eyes on the sea, it's been moved.

Dear sweet paige, last night through my window, i saw the moon and the sea collaborating, as silver rays touched the ripples, leaving a beautiful and dreamy ambience that is so very inspiring! What a most gorgeous poem this is! For sure a fave for me! Everything about this truly left me in awe! Magical! Sending you light always

but there is something languidly beautiful about your couplets, paige...the symbiosis between moon and sea, perhaps? my heart throbs!

In the night, the moon and sea share one stare, eyes on each other at the surface of water.

This is a lovely poem about that tricky moon. The power of nature is visible in your words.

Paige, this is stunning--so fluid and luminous. “Where moon and sea hang like lockets” is such a gorgeous image, and the line “the catch of forever swimming light” just took my breath. You’ve captured the eternal pull between them with both grace and depth. Loved this.

Such an outstanding poem, dear Paige, explores the relationship between nature (the moon and the sea) and human emotion, capturing a moment of connection and reflection in the interplay of light and water. Wonderfully done
