A DAY AT THE BEACH
Just something silly.... There once was a squirrel named Sue, who dreamed of the ocean so blue. With a towel and a delicious snack, she set off with goodies in her backpack, hoping to build castles and surf waves anew. She dug in the sand with great glee, searching for treasures, oh my, oh me! But a wave gave a splash, and her snacks made a crash. Now her lunch was a feast for the sea! With a flip and a flop, all day she did play, Rolling in tides till end of the day. Though her fur got quite wet, Sue would soon not forget, the fun that she had at the beach on the bay!

The picture of Sue at the top of the page is priceless. A fun Limerick to read. Thanks for sharing some humor with us. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Delightful and silly! Love: But a wave gave a splash, and her snacks made a crash. Now her lunch was a feast for the sea…and all her flip flopping!
