It takes maximum five seconds to open the dishwasher, place the cup in the machine and close the door When my husband puts the coffee cup in the dishwasher It's not about the cup by the sink ... but Wait a minute ... was it today my mother was coming ?

I differ, dear Anne...! I feel this is a sweeping condemnation. Neither all mothers-in-law are bad, nor all daughters-in-law, ideal.

Dear Anna-lise. These mother in-laws are a nuisance. Basically the under lying common denominator is that you have taken her child. My Motto is see no evil do no evil, hear no evil. That way my husband and I avoid confrontation. Remember mother in-laws are always right!!! However that having said all this, I have the most awesome daughter in-law who I love dearly and communicate with her beautifully. Hugs and blessings. Jennifer.

This is very subtle and funny. It's insightful the way you transition from what the husband did and the way it triggers your thoughts. What you did here is phenomenal. I am really impressed!!!

- It's not always like this, Andrea - My husband had a good relationship with my mother and vice versa (she died in 2011) - My mother-in-law is alive and we are good friends :) - hugs
