The Roadside Chapel
Jane and Norman are going steady
Now are planning their wedding
They decided to wed
At a roadside chapel
Off a country road
Their minister will
Do the ceremony
Jane will have bridesmaids
A flower girl or two
Maids of honor will lead
Then the bride will follow
Walking slow to the groom
She is teary eye with joy
Photos taken outdoors
In front of the chapel
People gather to watch
Phots are taken
On a bright sunny day
Small groups groups gather
to chat
Before leaving the chapel
Wedding Bells Blues
Married by a de-frocked priest
[the folks didn't have a clue ]
the day was mostly sunny,
the geese were quaking too!
My groom it seems was fretin'
but my brother well [he knew ]
Mary Jane was just the thing
to go with cheese fondue!
Pond side, down garden path
the flower girl was crying
the ring bearers pillow dropped
the brides maids were sighing!
Missing Mom finally showed,
her ex in tow with tootsie
what delight, what painful fright
and me the raving beauty!
What a day, that 26th of May
I should have guessed, you know
when the wedding suites' door
stuck, they gave us free bordeaux.

A Perfect Wedding
In a wedding that is perfect,
It has a beautiful bride
A beautiful dress,
A perfect appearance
She feels perfect
She entered with perfect neatness
She walks perfectly in her dress
Her groom is dressed in perfection
In a perfect wedding
The flower girl is decorated beautifully
She accompanied with a perfect thought in her mind,
Of a perfect wedding for herself
She loves the beautiful dress of the bride
She loves and adores, the walk of the bride
She feels the bride is perfect in apperance
Flower Girl In Blue
Romantic-minded, young flower girl in delicate chiffon blue
Flipped her dainty lace petticoats up; her name was Lu.
Her lively hands kept touching the embroidered flowers.
She was excited about the wedding and all the showers
