The Streaming Production

Riding on the fast track with firm business sense Hal and Dale decided to invest in a visual entertainment production that would stream on the new ‘Gulf’ network. Planning it to be a variety extravaganza event the two searched their files for a nice character and setting.

“Is the beach ready for the show?” Hal inquired inside his corporate cubicle office.

“Yeah, and I have this number one girl who is out of the money, she would be a nice personality,” Dale replied.

“What do you mean? Out of the money?” Hal started to get concerned.

It’s Harlan, you know,”

“Wait a second she has that song ‘Love Mami Love’,” Hal commented, “wasn’t that on her award-winning album, Harlan’s Legacy.”

Thinking for a minute Dale confirmed the information and came to the reality that the melody maiden was being honest claiming financial issues.

Deciding to set up a meet and greet under the Royal Palm with the talent, Dale tried to find out ‘what was going on’.

“Such a nice Royal Palm,” Harlan opened the conversation while Dale acted sympathetic.

“I heard you’ve gone nuts and were put into a certain place,”

“Yes, I am in the love zone,” Harlan confessed.

“Love zone?”

“I fell in love with a young bull, a rare piece of meat,” she explained, “after I changed over to using a Tapeta recording track we made beautiful music together.”

“What?”

“He is a hard laborer, works bankers' hours and is a winner,”

“Does this guy have a name,”

“I just told you, he is a young bull, my Toretto,” Harlan continued.

Returning to the corporate world Dale contacted Hal, “I found out why our number one girl was out of the money,”

“Why? Dale inquired.
“Harlan is claiming Amor Lejano put her out of the money,”

“And what is that?” Hal pressed,

“A distant love.”

Weeks passed and time came to raise the curtain, and during rehearsal Harlan changed her image from the ‘maiden claiming’ to ‘the maiden with the special weight’.

When the pair arrived Hal could not believe his eyes, “You look beautiful, Harlan, and your friend,”

“This is my Toretto, steak sauce optional,”

“Oh really,”

As the two strolled into the spotlight Hal and Dale admired the scene developing, “Did she tell you the beefcakes name?” Dale wondered out loud.

“Aaron and he is out of the money,”

“How do you know?”

“I know.”

Finally, the climatic act appeared, introduced as a Maverick from Dallas who bought airtime titling his show, ‘power humor’. As the crowd laughed and applauded the two investors seemed happy, when the results were announced the Texan Nowitzki ended up a long shot winner. Harlan walked away from the experience holding Aaron’s hand while Hal and Dale congratulated the victor receiving the response, “adios papa chico, I am out of this place.”

Leaving the two standing there, “now how did he win?”

“Paid advertisements,” Dale confirmed.
