The Seven Colors Of The Rainbow
Two billion years ago, five daughters were born followed by a fraternal twins are the most precious gifts a mother ever had in her life. She is one of the goddesses in heavens and died moments later after giving birth to her twins.
The husband (the god of rain, thunder and lightning) was devastated and wept for many days after losing his one and only love. He remained speechless for several months, hiding in the dark clouds.
Years later, the six daughters while growing up as children of the lone parent, contested for superiority. The only son and brother is just watching them. Being the youngest of the seven siblings, he always agreed to his older sisters and never argued on anything.
Each of the six daughters wanted a kingdom of her own -- something that can never be given by their father. Each of them searched for a place to call as her own and left their brother to stay with their father.
Many years passed and the six daughters didn't show up to their father. The father was worried and ordered his son to look for his sisters.
The son agreed and said, "I cannot find everybody if you will not help me..."
"My spirit will be with you as you travel!" said the father.
The son left and traveled in many places, including the different planets of the universe and found not one sister.
A bright star is twinkling from afar, the son was fascinated and visited the place called Venus. He found it very interesting and very colorful, but there's no life in it.
Then he saw a different one, people of the present time call it "Earth." He found it very similar to Venus and there's so much life in it. He discovered that all life forms can survive inside the Earth and can flourish even for a thousand years. The son returned to his father and reported everything. His search was futile, finding no sister anywhere.
The father was torn for not hearing a good news from his son. "I am getting old now. I missed your mother so much. And now, all your six sisters..."
"I left a mark in the last place I visited. All my sisters will know that I was there, looking for them!"
"Do your best, my son, to unite all your sisters! Your mother is waiting for me for a long time in a place that each and everyone of us is bound to at a later time in life."
"I will do my very best, Father." the son promised.
One late evening, the father died and the son was left alone -- grieving.
After several days of mourning, the son left their kingdom and went somewhere else.
All the six sisters heard and felt a rumbling sound from the dark skies, moving all planets in the universe. They felt that something strange has happened to their father. All sisters met again and felt sorry of their obstinacy, contending for supremacy. They learned that their father has died. Now, they're looking for their brother.
All six sisters traveled together and left a sign in each and every planet they visited. Their brother will know it in due time.
Many months passed and all sisters felt hopeless for not seeing their brother. Until one day, they found a planet colored green with sparkling blue colors above it. They concluded that their brother was there sometime ago. The blue colors stayed a long time in the skies of the said green planet, reminding all sisters that their brother loves them so much.
All six sisters brought out their different colors in different directions everywhere inside the green planet. All six colors shone so bright, fragmented in different places inside the said planet.
Four sisters suggested, "We cannot get our brother's attention if we work separately in different places. Let's work together as one so our brother can see and feel that we are back again as one!..."
All six sisters prayed and asked for their parents' intercession. The sun came out after long days of rains and dark clouds covering the green planet. Floods on the ground dried out and all colorful live trees and high mountains appeared on the ground.
Their prayer was answered. At noontime, all sisters joined hands and casted their different colors. Together, all six colors from the skies touched the ground of the green planet. Many hours passed and their brother has not come out yet.
Just before twilight, the blue color joined the six colors of the rainbow. All seven colors are reunited on the face of the green planet called Earth.
The six sisters and brother are whole again as a family and were never separated from each other to bring harmony everywhere in the universe.
This is the story of the seven colors of the rainbow that appear as a family. A real family that even without the physical presence of the loving parents, in spirit they are one.
