the end of the stockade

“The End of the Stockade”

1

“You know I really think they should bring back the stockade.” Said Ted at the bar buying shots for his table of two couples. Jay-nice was with him and helped him carry the drinks back to the table.

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“I mean a guess we still have it but its called the media. But then it was a sentence be in it for a week or so and you get to see who your real true friends are. They are not the ones that piss on you or the ones that throw cabbages they are the ones that feed you and chase the miscreants away.”

“Yeah I guess its good for that but don’t you think with the amount of sickos out there that one of them would try and rape any women or men and then just kill them?”

“I guess that’s the end of your stockade revival.”

“Possibly but we should make some tshirts. Bring back the stockade.” They all got a good laugh at that and they didn’t know was Ted was serious or that he had his own t-shirt business online.

The shirts were a hit and as the money started rolling in he decided to put the money to prisoners rights groups and the center for humane treatment of inmates. He hoped in time people would realize that 2.5 years for breaking someone’s arm is not light at all but honestly way too much and in this age of media and technology a year was like a dozen in the amount that one could accomplish.
