Meeting Under The Romantic Arch

Inside a romantic city that admired the colors red, white, and blue a beautiful looking committed lady sat underneath an artistic arch focused one hundred percent upon reading a published fairy tale. Alongside the fantasy novel a nice cool beverage melted, and luncheon sandwiches from the café seemed delectable. Turning each page, she reflected about her love who soon would arrive.

As she understood for the last couple of weeks, a scenic adventure occupied the decorated military gentleman’s agenda forcing him to leave home.

With her ponytail featuring patriotic colors making a supportive statement she waited patiently, and suddenly triumphant noises blared nearby, “Oh my! They must be getting close,” she whispered putting the leather bond text down.

Only a few minutes later she saw him, all confident and strong peddling faster signifying being the pack’s leader.

“Oh, my love,” the young girl screamed holding a rose that once had the assignment to be a bookmark.

Seeing the emotional gesture brought the peaceful competitor to tears making him stop right beside the most important thing in life, “my love I have missed you the past month,” the rider explained allowing his army to pass by, “you are the only one.”

Smiling with a twinkle in the eye the academic library rat found something nice to say, “may I see?” The inquiry allowed her to take control, grabbing the handlebars confirmed the fact.

“Why yes,” an answer replied.

That is when the daydream believer found herself in the driver’s seat, “where are you going?” A question shouted.

“To the mountains,” the response sounded.

“But I was already there,”

“Well, I would like to see for myself,” she exclaimed, “I left food in the microwave you will not starve, my love.”

Hearing those final words gave the exhausted soldier secure thoughts as he went to sit down underneath the arch. Picking up the deli creation and taking a drink swig the recently retired individual serving his country now can enjoy the next chapter in the story
