Lower East Side Tale

Today I woke up fairly early in the residnece where I live. It promised to be a wam day. I went downstairs to do some artwork - I am no Kandinsky but I try. Then I went to work on a article which I will actually GET PAID FOR. My financial circumstances are not great but I am treading water. I remain a Democrat for some strange reason.

Started re - reading a book which is entitled New York City Haiku. I really enjoyed that book and it is something which I want to share with others Here is a sample from it:

The day JFk died

the subway was jammed,but

no one was speaking

The author is one Alan Teplitsky

Try one of mine:

I believe we will see

A blood red sun begin to rise

Are we not good men
