JESSICA THE ANGEL

It was a warm summer day the sky was clear. Flowers bloom around the corner a signed that spring is nearly coming, the smell of new harvest fruits that everyone loved, especially Robie, for him, it was a perfect time to spend along with family and friends after a long staying in the city. He has always excited about the activities they will do with Jessica. Jessica likes climbing at the trees, she says it's a challenge for a girl like her to climb a tree, they used to have so much fun in doing this. She is a boyish type at the first look, but deep inside she was a sweet girl with so much love in the heart. A reason why Robbie was falling into her. These seasons, they used to go at his grandfather rice field, they enjoyed watching harvesting crops, Jessica much too loved looking into the golden rice fields, they are like gold that shimmer under the sunset that makes a good relief for them. A picnic at the nipa hut, lying at the green fields of summer watching the birds flying and the clouds that pass by, those are the things that he missed a lot. But this year is different his heart is in grief, something inside that makes it aching like a thorn that deeply wounded his soul. Not even, he can feel this way, neither Jessica's family is totally in pain. A sudden death of Jessica that no one can believe that she is now gone, so much pain, heartache that everyone could feel. How can they be able to survive the tragic that comes into their life? How can they accept that Jessica could not be there anymore?

THE FUNERAL

The Funeral was solemnly set by her family and friends, everyone has a sympathy for being loss of Jessica. Many were bringing flowers and others seems to try to bring back those happy moments when the time they are with Jessica. Robbie was beneath of the room watching people passing by, he can't even talk to their friends all that he wanted now is to be all alone. Tears were starting to roll in his eyes from the moment, he remembered her best friend, he was trying to be brave at all, just as he had promised to Jessica that he would not even cry. He feels more regret in his heart that he loves her not even as a best friend whom Jessica known in all of her life, she was been special in Robbie's heart. A special feeling that he hides for long years the friendship that he treasured. He went at Jessica's mom on where she seated near beside of him, he knows the feeling of Jessica's mom's; he was truly hurt how much more the feeling of being a mother of a loving daughter who loss and can't be with her anymore. They gazed at Jessica's coffin for one last time, she is lying like a little child resting in peace in her permanent bed, and it seems she is sleeping, she is prettier than ever just like before when she was still alive. With a smile in her face, they know that Jessica will leave them happily back in godfather arms. Mrs. Luna wishing Jessica would be with them spending the summer just she had promised and his daddy to her that they will go fishing and climbing at the tress just as she wondered before when they are in the city. If she only knew that this time would come she would not be a waste of her time in managing the Pre - school she owned to run. She cries a lot and don't even ate since the day Jessica has passed away. But then, mysterious things happen sometimes, not even anyone can explain that in the other world so many things had been happening. Many believed that after death, we would have an eternal life back in the Father’s arms, no more pain and suffering that could be felt. But in the other hand, in Jessica's case is not everyone whom they would be believed. If anyone here would see her that her soul is still beneath the corner of this room with the living people whom she truly loves. If anyone could say that she is crying and deeply hurt too because of her sudden death, she could have fallen to the wound that breaks in each other’s heart, if she could only know how to ease the pain she would be able to do that. But all she can do is to stare

at them, feeling pity for the people that she had left behind. She is standing next to her mother talking with her, even so, that she knows she could not be heard. She wanted to embrace her mom and tell her that everything would be alright that she will here next to her and to be assured that she was with her guardian angel that stands next beside on her too. "Mommy, please don't cry I'm still here... I wouldn't leave like I had promised to you". Be brave mom, Jessica whispers on her mom even thought she knows she can't hear her. She looked at Robbie's side on were sitting in silence, she feels what Robbie was been through right now and even she was deeply hurt in all what happening if she could only back from the death, she would do that. She holds a Robbie's hand; she knows he can feel her in his heart. A cold breeze was touched on Robbie's body; he shivers in coldness something like an ice that falls inside of him. He feels that Jessica was here sitting next to him, his hands were getting cold, he feels the touched in Jessica it’s just like when Jessica was still alive, the way she held him when she feels that the whole world was against him. He would know for himself that no one could touch him like the way Jessica does. The sun was smiling, the sky was blue, and there is a rainbow at the end. After three days and two nights of funeral her day of interment was come that give so much bitterness, sadness, that was grave in everyone’s hearts. After the mass ceremony, everyone could hardly hold the their tears fell in their eyes; Robbie is in the silence of his bereavement, there are no more tears to cry, but his heart was deeply in sorrow, his eyes were dull and feeling numbness in every happening around his surroundings. Jessica's family kept strong and accepting of themselves that she cannot be with them it is god will have to rest on her in peace and to be in Gods arms. Jessica is crying on her own interment, she had to say goodbye in this world, goodbye to all that she loves. Goodbye to the life whom she borrowed from almighty one. Just as a living one she also hurt and cried a lot she wipes her tears and turns around to her guardian angel named Elena. She gave a nod to say that she is ready to go with her.

At The Heaven Gates

Violin keeps playing in a soft melody like a lullaby. Angels never stop at playing, everyone welcome her with a sweet smile in their face. Everyone dancing in the air, they rejoice in the coming of Jessica, she is one of them right now with the halo on her head wearing a white gown, but she had no wings like a white feather that soft like a cloud. She's still totally different in another way around. She looks around searching for Saint Peter the one who holds the key of heaven’s gates. She wanted to ask some favor to the man of heaven’s gates if she had a privilege to do so. She walks along the soft clouds with Elena her guardian angel. It seems like paradise that she wondered a place she imagines when she was in the land, its extra more beautiful as she was expecting. Not just, as beautiful, but very lovable she would love the place she knows, but what her heart desires are different from what she was thinking. A moment after they were reaching the heaven gates. She can now see one angel standing on the front of the gate, she knows he was an angel, but he’s totally different he don't have a halo on his head yet he had wings like the others she had seen a while ago but he is looking totally different. Good morning Sebastian. Elena greets him. I am Jessica. He smiles at them and takes a looked at Jessica. Welcome Jessica. Sebastian greets Jessica. Jessica just smiles at Sebastian and saying thank you to the boy angel. We’re looking for St. Peter is he there. Elena asked. Yes, he is expecting both of you right now. Come with me, I will take you to him. They walked along the narrow gate of heaven, she was being amazed at all that she saw, she never imagines this wonderful place, perhaps she was dreaming, but she is not she is actually dead, she is now a soul that travelling along in the paradise place called heaven. She didn't know how long they had walked to reach the St. Peter Place, how many stairs and gates they had crossed. Could it be so easy on them anyway... they are angels, they have power to do that. Elena can read her mind; she knows what she was saying about in her mind. She moved over at Jessica holding her hands and smile. "Jessica everyone of us here is living like a normal human being as like me, you have the responsibility just as like the others." Jessica was surprised on what Elena was being said. Now she will believe that Elena is truly an angel. But why she cannot do the way Elena can do. They met St. Peter at last he had a long white hair, wearing satin dress, sitting on his chair soft like those clouds that they walked in. He nodded as he saw them walking along on his place, he gave a warm smile to Elena and Jessica.

Jessica Met St. Peter

"Welcome to the heaven Jessica" as St. Peter said to her. Jessica just smile at the Saint and said nothing. "But apparently, they are some test that I will give to you before you enter at the house of godfather. Is that understood? " Very well St. Peter. Jessica answered. Good. St. Peter said. He gets the Book of the Dead to the one angel handling of it listed there are the names of the people who were dead at that time, the date, and the cause of their death. Well... As St. Peter gets started. As he opened the book and get some surprised on his face. "Oh no.... It could not be true. Saying in his big eyes that looking shocked at what he had found out. " What is it St. Peter? Elena asks with so much surprised on her eyes. "There something wrong in what was written on here. Here... Why you don't read it. St. Peter gave the book to Angel Elena sharing on what he was found out. Elena shocked her head after reading about what was written in the book of the dead. “Couldn’t be true.. With so much surprised and her cheeks look pale. What is it? Jessica asks to them and don't know to understand what they were talking about. And don't have any idea what is really happening. St. Peter looks to her and stares her for a long while. Jessica. Clear his throat. We have found something that is unbelievable, and I too had surprised at what I have come to know. What is it? Tell me. Jessica you should not be here. Your death was getting early for about five days. What? Jessica looks puzzled. Meaning that your time on land was not over yet. St. Peter explained to her. Then. What is that mean. That I should not be dead at this time. Exactly. Elena answered her. Oh god.... How it was happening? Jessica is waiting for the answer. Well, something is going wrong and someone was getting irresponsible on her task. Is it true Angel Elena? Elena? What St. Peter says? With so much anger in her face. I'm sorry St. Peter; Jessica I am getting irresponsible on all that. So you were telling me that it's your fault that why I am here, and I should not be dead at this moment, how could it be? I don't understand. Jessica burst into tears. Why this angel lets her dead that for now she should be with her family with his friend Robbie enjoying their summer vacation. Yes, it is. But you will be dead still, you just get dead earlier than time. I don't care!!! With so much anger in her voice. Don't you know how I feel to leave my loved ones; you don't even know how much pain is here in my heart, looking then that they can't live without me. You even know that Elena? Of course, I do Jessica I was being like you before. Elena said to her. Because of all that happening. St. Peter gets decided to send back Jessica at the land to fulfill her unfinished task with her family and friends. She gave five days to resolve this case. And so because Angel Elena had been mistaken St. Peter gave her a punishment. St. Peter gets her wings she only gets it her back it soon, in one condition that she will be with Jessica is going back to the land helping the poor girl to fulfill her unfinished business.

Jessica Back Home

Silence keeps lingering in every corner of the house, it was never been the same unlike before everything has changed, since she was passed away. She can never be imagined how life is being miserable about their love ones since she was gone. She walked along the balcony of the house and found her mom sitting and crying, it's a day has passed without seeing her by her mom. She knows how life is difficult for her mother living without her is not an easy thing to do. She wanted to kiss and hug her loving mother and say that she was back, and she has been here just around the corner. She moved closer to her mother just to feel her that she is not totally in the present, but her spirits are just around the corner. Wind blew hardly, Mrs. Luna looks around that she does sense that there is someone beside her. She sighs outside if it could be rain for this moment, but it was summer it’s not so possible to get rain now. "Jessica" as she whispered in the air knowing that her daughter was visiting her. Jessica was smiling then and hug Angel Elena knowing about her mother feel her presence, she was happy about that. Three days in staying on the land, she was observing each in everyone in their home and Robbie as well she knows that he was a little bit okay now, and started to go along with their old friends. She was happy now that everything will be fine as she can leave them with no more regrets that somewhere they started to live life without her. Maybe it was a big help to Robbie the idea of Elena that she keeps visiting Robbie in his dream. He could talk to her and it feels that she was real sitting near beside him, laughing, and chattering about all along. In her fourth day, staying at the land., she felt sad in thinking about that she will leave again for the second time around. It makes her heart cut into pieces, but thanks to St. Peter that he could give her to stay at their home and spend along with them. At night she was, decided to visit her mother in her dreams she can say anything she wanted those things that she has never been said for the time she was still having a life. Mommy...as she called her mother. Mrs. Luna took looked and saw her sitting beneath on her bed. Jessica you're back as the tears roll in her eyes. A moment that Mrs. Luna waiting for to hold and hug her once again. Yes, mommy, but not so long just wanted to say bye to you. I'm sorry I was not able to say this word to you before, I'm sorry for the thing I have done. I just wanted you to be happy now. I promised that I would never leave you. Just think that I still here watching around you, and for the daddy that I was here for all of you. Just keep me alive in your heart you can feel my spirit mom. "I love you goodbye. She kissed her mom with tears in her eyes. A tear of joy that for now she was sure that she was ready to leave them and her heart was not belonging on here. " Jessica wait"....as her mother murmured. But before she holds Jessica hands a shadow of light was coming over and a moment that Jessica was disappeared together with the light. In the moment Mrs. Luna was awake, it was seven o'clock in the morning that she could find out that everything was a dream. A dream that makes her heart in peace she knows Jessica was doing well, and she will still here be watching over them. Now it's time to back in heaven and meet St. Peter to live in the heaven as angel with normal life and having a task to work it out. To be the angel of everyone, to be the angel of their family.
