“How & Now”

1

“Now we never talk about things like poverty, hunger or Cancer they were a thing of the past thankfully to all the research done by all those non-profit corporations.” Her name was Liz and she was 15 and a straight A student. What she was reading was her final report in History.

“You know in the old days, before the regulation of non-profit organizations this country was a mess. Not only did the non-profits not have to pay taxes they were not bound by any laws to explain where their excess revenue went to, again this was before regulation.” She stopped because Billy in the back was shooting spitballs at her. Liz shot him an ill kill you stare and Billy stopped because the teacher was still watching.

“Because of this great increase in revenue for science projects many have come to fruition. And everyone knows that President Trump has done some great things. He’s like a vigilanti fighting to right this country and seizing non-profit profits and putting them to use building and maintaining 400 more soup kitchens, clothes drop offs for the homeless and 800 or so more shelters. This one law has redefined how we think of america, home of the free and never leaving one of our own to die without love. America has had so many others dreaming of a better place but did nothing to really better our homeland for those with addictions and disabilities. I am proud to be in this America where we all strive to better those in need.” The classroom erupted in clapping and cheer for they all were indeed happy to live in America the greatest country in the galaxy.
