Hafiz, Amulet Of Salvation

Gold, Silver and Bronze are in a place called Curr Mey, a story of three female best of friends. Bronze is the richest of the three friends; Silver living in the middle class; and Gold, belonging to the lower class society. Silver lives a simple life while Gold lives a simpler life, having much less in life. Gold usually asks for help from her two friends. Bronze is the oldest of the three. One day, the three friends decided to visit a distant place where they can unwind. They went spelunking. In one island they traveled, they found a cave and were accompanied by residents there for assistance. They enjoyed the first day. On the second day, they went to a different island. Again, they were assisted by residents there, heard of stories about the cave. On the third day, they went to a place called "Crocodile Island" and learned mysterious stories about the "crocodile-shaped" island. Bronze swam in the waters and enjoyed the cool, clear waters. Silver and Gold swam too. All three friends had a great day on the third day. That night, Bronze told her two friends that she has an incurable disease. Her disease is asymptomatic and she explained that she is suffering from leukemia. Bronze said that she needed some time in a quiet place so she can confide her illness. She already did. Early morning the following day, she asked her two friends to sign some legal papers she brought. It is a will, stating that all Bronze's assets will be divided equally between her two best friends if she would die at anytime. There is an additional paper that Bronze wrote only for Silver and enclosed it in a small golden envelope. It says there that on the day that Bronze will die, her lawyer will hand it over to her. It is something else. The three friends went back home to their respective houses in Curr Mey and spent more years together as friends. After a few years, Bronze died and her two friends grieved her loss. Silver and Gold acquired the riches that Bronze decided to bestow to them. Her two friends were exhilarated. Years passed, Gold changed her lifestyle and became moody in her new lifestyle. Silver was anxious because her remaining best friend has changed a lot. One time, they decided to go spelunking together. Inside the cave where the two friends went, Gold tricked Silver and left her alone inside the cave. Silver was trapped and spent three days inside the cave without food or water. Luckily, a caretaker of the said cave arrived and Silver was rescued, lying on the ground and fainting. Silver was rushed to the nearest hospital and recovered after a week. Silver hated Gold for what she has done to her. After three months, Gold was astonished when Silver appeared before her -- believing Silver is already dead. Gold apologized to Silver for leaving her alone inside the cave. Silver forgave her. Gold gained Silver's trust again as if nothing too serious happened. One day, Silver received a letter from Bronze's lawyer informing her to see Bronze's lawyer immediately. Silver received a small golden envelope. She opened it and saw a note that reads, "Shuffle the two words... Curr Mey". She didn't know what the word could be. There is a short note behind the paper where "Curr Mey" was written and it reads, "Use it to dissolve evil!" Silver was confused, then she went home and rested. In her mind, a puzzle runs. After a while, she contacted Gold to confide something, but Gold ignored her calling. Silver realized that Gold has really changed a lot in her character. Gold learned to gamble a lot. One afternoon, Gold wanted to see Silver in person but Silver was busy in her work. Many weeks passed and the two friends didn't see each other. After a few months, they met again. Gold was borrowing some money from Silver but Silver refused to lend Bronze any amount, knowing the money will only be used for gambling. Gold felt grudge in her heart. Gold left and Silver didn't see her in the following weeks. One day, Gold tried to trick Silver again, bluffing that they are always best of friends. Gold tried to poison Silver in her drinks. Silver vomited for more than two days even after when Gold brought her to the nearest hospital for confinement. And while Silver is being confined in the hospital, Gold went to Silver's house and ran away with lots of gold. For many days, Gold didn't come back to Silver to visit her. Three weeks passed and Silver has recovered. Silver returned home, found her house ransacked. She cried and regretted her friendship with Gold. Many years Gold didn't show up to Silver. Silver didn't have anything left except the small house that she owns. Silver decided to sell her small house and buy a small lot. She found one, a smaller lot with a smaller house -- an old house that looks like a storage room for garden tools. There she stayed for many months. During those months, Silver thought of planting some vegetables on the ground surrounding her small house. One morning, an old woman knocked at her door and asked for some vegetables that she has grown. She gave some to the old woman and gave the old woman a nice sweater to wear because the old woman looked freezing and unkempt. The old woman thanked Silver. After a week, the old woman returned to Silver's house, knocking again. The old woman asked for food. Silver invited the old woman inside her small house, offered a bagel and a cup of warm tea. The old woman was seated while Silver was cooking something for the old woman. Silver was talking about an old friend who abandoned her in the hospital. The old woman asked for a pen and paper to write on. While cooking not facing the old woman, the old woman was listening and writing something on the paper. When she turned around, the old woman vanished. But she saw an amulet on the table. A note was written on the paper, "Take care of this amulet like it is your own life. Use it to defend and protect the oppressed like you. It will give you a sign when you are in danger. Take good care of it and make good use of it." The note gave Silver mixed emotions. She kept the amulet in a drawer after putting a strong polyester string to tie it and made it like a necklace to wear. One night while Silver was sleeping in her small house, a group of male escapees from a nearby prison broke into her house. But minutes before that, the amulet was shaking inside the drawer. Silver was raped by the three men, beat her so badly afterwards and left. Bruised and bloodied, crawling on the floor. Silver was reaching for the amulet inside the drawer... she didn't make it and lost her consciousness. After twelve hours, she was awakened but can hardly stand on her feet. She took the amulet from the drawer and sat on a nearly broken wooden stool, sighing. Not too long, the group of escapees were caught and were sent back to prison. Silver recovered from her injuries, over ten days after the tragic incident. But the trauma is still there. A week later, Silver kept the amulet close to her body all the time even when taking a bath. A month later, she went out to go around the neighborhood and nearby towns and cities, walking. It happened for many days. In one road where Silver was walking, she spotted a male mascular man running away with a belt bag after punching a lady he just robbed from. Silver followed the robber in a secluded area and asked the man why he has to hurt somebody after stealing. The amulet on Silver's chest was shaking. The man scorned at her and left. Silver's stomach was crumbling and went to a nearby restaurant. She was not allowed to go inside because she looked poor in her appearance. She moved to a closer establishment, a bar with a wide-open door and sat down inside for a while. She saw four drunk men playing on a small man's shirt, ripping it. The small man was punched and fell on the shiny floor. Picked up by another drunk man and punched the small man again. The small man's face was profusing with blood coming from his forehead after being poked with an empty glass bottle. Silver stared at the drunk men, approached them and tapped every man's shoulder once. The drunk men walked out of the bar immediately. The small injured man was relieved and thanked Silver. Wondering how Silver was able to drive away the four drunk men is a mystery to the small man's mind. The beaten man asked for Silver's name and offered her food. They had a talk for a while. Silver was given a shoulder bag full of food and bottled water. The small man is the owner of the bar. Silver thanked the man and left. On her way back to her small house, she saw a house on fire. She heard a mother outside the burning house, shouting and calling for help to get her baby out from the second floor of the house. Men in the neighborhood went inside the burning house but instead of rescuing the baby they took everything that they can find valuable inside the house and ran away. Silver went upstairs after wetting her sweater with the bottled waters she was carrying on her bag. She found the baby unconscious but breathing. The baby was saved and the mother thanked Silver for what she did. Silver arrived home safe in her small house and rested there for two days. On the third day, Silver went outside again. She went to a nearby county. While walking, she saw a lot of children playing in a playground. She was overjoyed for seeing a lot of happy, young, innocent faces inside the playground enclosed in a thin metallic barriers. Then a group of young male teens arrived in the scene, bullying the small children inside the playground. Silver looked at the teens and the teens sneered at her. One by one, the small children were being pushed away by the naughty young teens. Silver called the young teens' attention and asked them to stay away from the children. The young teens stepped out of the enclosed playground and confronted Silver. Silver heard foul words. She asked for each of the teens' hands for a hand shake. Everyone of them did. After the hand shake, the teens went inside the playground and asked for apology to all children for their despicable behavior and left. Not too far, Silver heard sounds of loud running shots coming from a gun, as if there's a commotion somewhere. She left the playground and searched the strange sounds. She saw a wounded policeman on the ground after being shot and mauled by a group of men. She approached the policeman and asked where his assailants are. The policeman pointed to a nearby warehouse. Few seconds later, the policeman died. Silver went inside the warehouse and saw a group of masked men tying up male and female employees there. Silver closed her eyes for feeling so angry. She vanished from the very same spot where she stands and like a wind, an invisible being walking and moving around inside the said warehouse. She took each and every gun and ammunition of the hostage-takers, and tied them up one by one. The leader of the hostage-takers had a heart attack because of disbelief that his men are being attacked and subdued by an invisible being. Two ran away but died outside the warehouse after being shot by the responding policemen in the area. The adventures of Hafiz in the body and character of Silver has not ended. More and more heroes will come out to save the good people of the world.
