College Sweethearts

Once upon a time, there was a princess. She danced to songs about love and romance. She daydreamed about finding love in college, because her peers back home were too immature to date.

One day, she suddenly found out she needed to remove her wisdom teeth. While waiting in the dental office in her hometown for x-rays of her teeth, she found a children's book about Ancient Egypt. She connected the dots to a dream she had on July 10, 2012. Where she saw a man in a business suit with engagement gifts, sitting on her bed. In the same dream she then teleported to Egypt, standing near a pyramid or temple.

When she finally went to college in September 2012, it was on the 6th day of September she literally found the man from her dream. She had guessed his name before they introduced themselves.

She sat at a table for the college residence's orientation dinner after they were in line for the food and told each other's name. They sat next to each other, with a green balloon and white balloon tied to his chair. She was staring at them thinking she wanted the green one. He passed her the white balloon. She was a little disappointed but still pleased with this gesture of kindness from this handsome man.

They began talking to a couple of girls across the table. She became jealous because she could sense one of them was being too friendly to him. So she decided to get up and leave the dinner early. He got up too. They walked together to their college residence across the street from the campus. It was a beautiful sunny autumn evening.

She nervously went up the elevator with him to his room on the top floor. Questioning if he was safe to be with. But she wanted to take her chances.

They had carried the balloons with them to his residence room. She had once learned online that people can inhale helium from balloons to talk in a chipmunk voice to be funny. So she and him inhaled the helium from a balloon. They laughed as they spoke to each other. After the fun moment was over, he asked her, "Do you want to have sex?"

Flustered on the inside, but with a calm composure, she replied, "I have to go back to my room, my roommate must be wondering where I am..." As she was about to open his door to leave, she said, "We have to be friends first." He said okay. She was actually just a virgin and too nervous and ignorant of how to proceed with his request.

Little did she know, it would be a less than a week that he showed up knocking on her residence room's door. She looked through the peep hole and was flustered and excited. She opened the door and he asked if she wants to go for a walk with him. They went for a walk and enjoyed their time together. She hardly remembers the correct order of their walks as they got to know each other. But on one of their early walks, they found a bench at a nearby park. It was facing the wrong way, so she suggested they sit backwards to see the entire park. Then suddenly they noticed their initials in a heart drawn on top of the bench. The sun was shining gloriously unto them as her heart was filled with a quiet joy. She accused him of being drunk one night and coming out to write this, but knew he didn't. He said he did not. They fell deeper in love, knowing their meeting was fated.

Their other walks included a pizza date and a discussion of belief in aliens. He said he believes in them but is still unsure. She firmly said she believes in aliens for sure. They laughed beneath the stars as they walked.

Eventually soon enough she and him began residing in his room together. She didn't care she was taking for granted the room her grandparents paid for. She didn't fully like her roommate anyway.

They ordered many takeout meals thanks to his family's money and her government's monthly funding for college. They enjoyed pizzas most of all. Various toppings every time. In retrospect this was the root cause of her diabetes. She doesn't regret her poor decisions regarding her health though, as a few years later her condition was diagnosed before it can get worse.

They even passionately made love without doing intercourse. She realized how kinky she can be. He realized she's not as innocent and timid as she seemed. They enjoyed each other's company in every way possible.

During one of their first days together, they cuddled to Katatonia's "Dead End Kings" album, holding each other close, and they had their first kiss. It was electric and a tiny spark of light appeared between their touching lips. She was the only one who noticed it as his eyes were closed. She was enchanted, and he was amazed by how well she could kiss.

And that was the beginning of their sweet romance. Memories she will remember forever. It feels like it was only yesterday.
