Blue Boy and the raining puffs: A Father's Day Story

For Father's Day, Blue Boy got his dad a nice card and a nice Cuban cigar -- that cost him a fortune. He was excited to present the gift to his dad at dinner time. His sister Rachel created a lovely card with her magic markers. Their dad was very pleased to receive all the gifts. "Oh my. I hope it didn't cost you too much Blue Boy." A few minutes later, he was out on the porch enjoying his cigar and the rings of smoke when he exhaled. But, from inside Blue Boy's room on the second floor, those rings looked like tiny clouds going up to the sky, or at least that's how one of the three Martian balls thought so, now wondering if they should rain?!

"What is this? Rain?" Blue Boy's dad uttered after feeling a few drops of rain on his head, looked up and saw the clear blue sky without a dart of clouds, so where did those rain drops come from? He moved to another corner of the porch and, again, the rain drops on his head continued, looked up again and saw, to his total surprise, that they came from the cigar's puffs. "Amazing. I have to tell Sally about this," he said then ran inside to alert his wife about this strange development, making sure his cigard was extinguished before he stepped inside. But, by then Blue Boy who was doing his homework was aware of the Martian ball's nutty thing and ordered it to stop having fun with his dad's puffs. Naturally, when his parents came back out, the rain had disappeared. "Well, honey I must be imagining it, It's gettig past my sleep time I suppose."
