Liberty, Equality andFraternity

here we have conditions
prepared for good of man
where control of social organization
gets restricted by command

command of all us people
when laws become ingrained
government’s role delineated
abuses there restrained

freedom to think what we desire
not conditioned by elites
speech, writing, worship
not their interest in the least

property confiscation
favored by NN’s
becomes obscure history
thank goodness this amended

classes that control us
reduced to equality
rich, poor become phrases
we never ever see

brotherhood of peoples
begins as driving goal
“race” becomes a word
never ever told

for all of us get equalized
in privilege, responsibility
no “them or us” seen in our eyes
a wonderful new scene

why some fight these principles
I’ll never understand
unless they see our world as theirs
to conquer and disband

my heart sighs out for liberty
justice, harmony and progress
not what current leadership
tries in their hearts to profess
