About 30 yrs ago someone i knew wrote this poem down. They passed away in Jan. 2020 at the age of 49. I wrote a copy of it down. I believe he wrote the poem but am not sure. Has anyone ever seen this poem before and if you have do you know who the Author is?
God is man

Man is God

One the soil

The other sod,

One the spark

The other flame,

Each from the other

They both came.

I have not heard about such a poem, but I would like to know the name of the author. Since I generally like fiction, poetry, etc.

I read a lot and advise a lot a lot. Last read, this was an essay on Henry David Thoreau. a worthy writer, read 2-3 of his books.

I don't know the author of this verse, but the style is very similar to the early works of Joseph Brodsky. Look at his poems, records, maybe it belongs to him.
