My idea is to write poetry for my Journal/cookbook/scrapbook/photo album and I intend to use free verse.
I hope to learn from this forum to make "My Cookbook" better.

This is a great idea, I hope you will succeed and be able to write this book. I'm sure you will succeed. I am also working on my own book at the moment. In it I want to include both my prose and poetry. I am also studying at the university now and sometimes I have to do a lot of different homework. The EduBirdie service with which I have been cooperating for quite a long time helps me with this. The writers of this service do their homework when I have difficulties and thus free up time to write my works of fiction.
