Diet Time's broken memories weep On the day before Thanksgiving's Pecan pie recipe arrives.
Tender whispers seem to console The soul while it's sleeping Off the bloated corpse of yesterday's chicken.
Oreos spring forth a child-like reaction As if sugar-coating the depths Of sadness would help at all.
Gluten-free wafers hold out hope Of restoration inside and out If it's really not too late.
Apple-picking in fall restores The spirit and a longing that in winter That the carefully sorted stores will actually last.
