This fear I have
Sits in my toes
It's weighed me down for years
Time for me to grow
I'm standing here hoping
That when I sing through these lips
It'll be as magical to your ears as afairy's kiss
So sweaty and shaky,
Sure don't feel like a pretty lady
I close my eyes and let the melody out
The louder the piano plays,
The louder I want to shout
Everything in me wants to crawl under achair
Putting myself out there seems a lot tobear
I must do this
I can do this
I am doing this
Aahhh it feels great!
My fear of performing isfading..ading..ding
And just as I get comfortable the pianostops playing
