10/15/2012 9:16:23 AM Mark McAllister Posts: 1	Cryptomnesia occurs when a forgotten memory returns without it being recognized as such by the subject. So Blake did it T.S. Elliot and Poe did it. I will not be to hard on myself if I find that I do it as well. I am quite certain that I have certain phrases that have been with me for as long as I can remember, in fact since I was so young that in my immaturity I could not have had the required depth to have thought of them my self. I am a little proud however that they did impress my young mind enough that they became part of my inner world and in that regard I own them now. Is anything in poetry new?...Perhaps not if it's good.
