What to Submit?

Rule A. Create an original poem including "With Each Morning" in the title.

Rule B. Base the poem on a theme of "new beginnings."

Rule C. Use any style unless specified below

Rule D. Include the following stanza by one of the following three methods 
   1. Simply include the stanza in your (any style) poem.
   2. Include the stanza in quotes in your (any style) poem and a footnote source,
   3. Add the stanza to an introduction, then replicate the theme and style.
   "Reflections of pink, and gold on heaven’s floor,
   a hint of memories that came millenniums before,
   and the radiance of God’s glory, eying from behind the shore,
   is a new dawn, for our taking."

Rule E. Limit your poem to 1,000 words. 

Rule F. Your poem should reference at least one historical event of influence.  Your poem may reference the chaos of today's political, social, and economic developments. 

Rule G. Your poem is required to offer a message of hope through the awesome power of God's authority and through the salvation of Jesus Christ who calms our fears like he calmed the storm.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.

And two poems, although beautiful, did not follow the previous rules. The rules have been reworded for clarification, and make this contest more inviting. A blog was created for additional comments.
