Contest Description
What to Submit?
1 original, poem using up to 6 lines from another of your poems from any time, write a reverse/opposite poem. The idea is to be inspired by the opposite word choices and see how that shapes your poem. Feel free to tidy it up to make the language work. Include the original poem (max 6 lines - can be from a longer poem) in bold then the new opposing poem below (max 6 lines). Ensure both are your own work, with the original being a previously published one on Poetry Soup. (See title requirement below)
Any form is acceptable.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — any poems not formatted as requested won't be read. The title is your original title with 'opposing' in front.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
