I was reading some poetry today and was reminded of these words ,the opening couplet by Blake , of his long poem
Auguries of Innocence
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild flower
Blake's couplet from his famous quatrain expressese so clearly what Emily Bronte meant ,especially the first two lines, for we are such an integral part of the earth and our imagination and impetus is essential to seeing the beauty to which she referred.
