Positive people truly make a difference...

Blog Posted:12/8/2006 10:15:00 PM

Hi, this is my first Blog submission to the Soup crew. I would like to thank Mary Nagy, and Charles Fuller for their comments on my work... but most of all, for their valuable insight. It really is amazing how much of a difference people can make with kind gestures. I have heard this site has it's downfalls, (like any), but I have also started to feel affected by those who are here to share their knowledge, and learn.

That is why I am here,

so cheers to those I encounter...

Welcome aboard, Angie. I, just as everyone else on the Soup, am delighted to have you join our rather large family. I would also like to say I have the greatest admiration for anyone who works to improve the lives of troubled children, because the children of the world truly are the hope of the world. Thank you. --Bill

You hit it right on the head. If kids only heard positive remarks, and parents were supportive instead of condescending, the world would be a much better place. Too many people are too quick to judge (must have forgot they were kids once). Have a wonderful day and keep doing what you are doing. You do make a difference.

Your couldn't be more right. It's wonderful how a few kind words, a smile, or a warm gesture can effect us all. I suppose there are a couple of downfalls to every sight, but here at the Soup, it's very different. We put aside our differences and celebrate...everything with one another and share our words and thoughts. You are certainly a wonderful addition to our family. Thanks you for the kind words about me. But mostly, thank you for sharing your gift with us. Welcome to the family.
