My Testimony of Thankfulness

Hebrews 7:25 (NASB)
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Jesus, I am grateful to You for so many reasons. You were there when I prayed "Lord, please don't forget me" and "Lord, please don't ever give up on me." Barriers between you and I existed for so long, for far, far too long. The voice in my ear... kept whispering, "Too little, too late. He doesn't love you. He won't save you." I just thank you that through your graciousness and mercy you broke down those barriers, and you silenced those lies. I came to You a sinful wretch, asking You for the faith to believe, to forgive me of my sins, to be Lord of my life, and to accept me as one of Your own. While I once was on the outside looking in, I passed from death to life by Your hand, and I was forgiven. How could anyone not love You? How could anyone neglect so great a salvation? You sacrificed yourself for me; you loved me before the foundation of the world. You offer an eternity of endless love, peace, and joy. My heart fills with gratitude and awe at the wonder of You. Thank you, Jesus, for the privilege of praying, praising, and worshipping You. I love You.
