Off topic, a boy, only five, has slipped under the nith river here in New Hamburg. His body has not been recovered. Our town is full of blue ribbons, blue ribbons on porches, blue ribbons on trees, on sleeves, on cars... they want closure. What is new? This boy's family has suffered a devastating loss and my community is in pain. I can not stop thinking about him. We are made new each day. He will have no new days... only five... only five... I think I am still sick because I feel this so deeply. I'd rather feel though then be numb, robotic. So, I will try to start anew... remembering that others do not get a chance to change, to grow, even to grow up. I'm so sad.... xoxox Cyndi
