Daytime Lover

A distance memory
but yet a close dream,
he's sweet sincere
but yet he's not with me.
Nothing I could do
or pretty much say
I guess this is just the world I live in
and I can't always have it my way.
As time fades and emotion flare
I look through the corner of my eye to realize
he's still there...
Just a moment with him
How would it feel,
I would just like to know
heart of gold,
eyes so pure...
slow to let go...
A fire burning in every direction..
slow to speak
as a I drift off to heaven..
He has my voice
and is stealing my mind
I found him at night
but he stold my heart in the daytime....
