Blanket of Darkness
High tide sends ripples over the crystalized sand,
Breaking individual strokes of envy green waves.
Too cold is the water to reveal the warmth of my skin,
Goosebumps have already spread and taken bite.
Time bears no consideration to destiny,
Leaving the prudence of my body to tremble,
In gasps of ecstasy between pain and suffering.
The earlier hours responsible for raising the heated light,
Now reverse course, sheltering the appearence of mine.
Soon my hiding will once again be relinquished,
As the knight in sliver shinning armor,
Will show true to rescue.
Only now had my color been tarnished,
By the reflection in the distorted mirror image.
The crude remarks of my appearence bears sight meaning
I am hidden underneith a sliver shinning blanket,
Hidden, only to once again be shadowed by a secret light.
