Mosquitoes Dominate Here

My usual meditation in the morning
Was abruptly breached by a mosquito
Tearing the quiet of the moment growing
The vanished scar is an adverse memento.
It was seen at my foot immovably stuck
Inflated with blood like a drunk
A billionaire sunk
Into the quagmire of life
Removed from the dishonestly acquired bunk.
The dead insect was scooped out using nail
The dead had to leave out everything including blood
It left no trail no trial to face to pass or fail.
Life’s accumulated blood
Would never be carried to the next birth
Of the inner resident.

This city is infested by mosquitoes
It accepts all insects and foes
In exchange of modern tourism with prearranged
Contact and appointment flourishing on its shore
With Nature’s endowment of Sea over the others to score;
After all citizens face no hurdle
From restrictions legal or illegal
They don’t have to stand any trial or battle
Anything beyond what they have
They don’t mind if life around is soothing or rough.
