Pulchritudinous

Pretty, a word too overused to describe people who are more than pretty.

Underneath that pretty is someone thoughtful, someone with great dreams.

Looking for someone who maybe sees them as anything but pretty. someone to

Chase after because they used lovely words to describe him. and he found that someone.

He chased her for eternity longing to hear her soothing voice speak words to him.

Ran and ran she did, far away from the land who only used pretty.

In her mind, words that were much more thoughtful waltzed into

The ears of the former pretty boy. now he was the dreamer. the graceful boy. the chaser.

Unknown places now known to the dreamer because of the spontaneous girl. she finally

Did stop for the chaser and together, they found more words to replace pretty.

Interesting, gorgeous, captivating, bewitching. but one word stood out to them.

No, it was not glamorous nor breath-taking. it was a word that sounded like something

Offensive, but it was really something wonderful, something remarkable.

Underneath that pretty is someone thoughtful, someone with great dreams.

Someone who knows they aren’t pretty but that they are pulchritudinous.

pulchritudinous(adjective) used to describe people who are more than just pretty
